MANILA BULLETIN STYLE WEEKENDFriday, 11 May 2007
To keep up with the stressful, fast-paced lifestyle of modern-day urbanities, C3 Events Place and Restaurant had introduced a new food selection, the Spa Cuisine, which offers soothing presentations of dishes and healthier, yet tasty meals made of natural ingredients.
“ We avoid the use of oil for cooking so there would be less saturated fat. Most dishes are grilled for the Spa Cuisine”, says C3 Chef Inigo Catillo. We use creative ways of cooking so that the food is healthy and has more texture and more favor.”
Top picks among the Spa Plates include the Tuna au Poivre, a tuna steak cooked medium rare, spiced up with pepper crusting, and the Chicken Mediterranean, a healthy dose of juicy white meat paillards. In pesto and other spices served with grilled eggplants, cucumbers, and tomato pilaf. Spa drinks such as the Cucumber Mint Mojito, the Banana Key Lime Freeze, and The Coco-Lychee Pina Colada tastefully complement the Spa Plates as they work against tiredness and dehydration.
With the new Spa Cuisine comes the new Spa Party theme. For bridal showers, birthdays, cocktail parties, and corporate events that C3 offers in packages. One such package is the Blue Water Day Spa, which guests can avail of while partying. The package includes foot reflexology, digital nail art, pedicure and manicure, foot spa, and back massage. Food for the skin like yoghurt masks and creams made by Skinfood also comes with each package as loot bags for guests.
The Spa Cuisine will be on C3’s menu until June while the Spa Party theme will be available until the end of the year. For more information, call (+632) 726 27 12 or log on to www.peopleeventsplaces.com
